About us

The domain names www.kinderdijk.com and www.kinderdijk.nl are registered domain names owned and managed by Kinderdijk Promotions (KP). KP is recognized by UNESCO, municipality Nieuw-Lekkerland and supports the actvities of SIMAV and the Hollandsche Molen. The objective of KP is to inform visitors about Kinderdijk and offerings from its sponsors. KP wants to:

  • Inform visitors of the history and current activities in Kinderdijk and surrounding areas
  • Limit the impact of visitors on residents of the small town of Kinderdijk
  • Preserve the windmills by educating visitors of needs
  • Assist companies to promote their offerings to visitors

In order to meet these objectives we invite companies to advertise on our site. From 2010 we are allowed to offer advertising opportunities to companies that have or do not have a direct relationship with Kinderdijk and the windmills. We do not allow and are not enroled in any advertising program to redirect visitors away from this site for money. We hope you enjoy the information on this website and hope you will visit the beatiful world heritage site in person one day.
